# AI Credits

> Understand how AI credits work and what you can do with Odia's AI-powered features.

## What Are AI Credits?

AI credits are the fuel for Odia's AI-powered features. Every time you use an AI feature — like enhancing a description, generating a summary, or getting smart suggestions — a small number of credits are used from your organization's balance.

**Simple rule of thumb:** 1 credit = about 75 words of AI processing.

Credits cover both what you send to the AI and what it generates back, so longer outputs use more credits.

## How Many Credits Does Each Feature Use?

## What Can You Do With 1,000 Credits?

To give you a sense of how far credits go, here's what you can do with 1,000 credits:

* **\~70** description enhancements, OR
* **\~50** Journey summaries, OR
* **\~15** smart suggestion runs, OR
* A mix of **\~100** various AI actions

Most users find that 1,000 credits covers several weeks of regular AI usage.

## Managing Your Credits

## Frequently Asked Questions

    If your credit balance reaches zero, AI features will be temporarily unavailable. Your existing data and Journeys are not affected — only AI-powered generation is paused. Contact **[customer@odia.app](mailto:customer@odia.app)** to top up your credits.

  <Accordion title="Can I cancel mid-generation?">
    Yes. You can cancel an AI generation while it's in progress. Credits are only charged for the portion of content that was generated before cancellation.

    Yes. Credits belong to your organization and are shared across all team members. Any user with access to AI features draws from the same organizational balance.

    Different features process different amounts of text. A short description enhancement processes less text than a smart suggestion that analyzes your entire library, so it costs fewer credits.
