Overview

Financials is the sidebar item for money that spans across Journeys — as opposed to the Journey Financials tab, which handles pricing and invoicing for one Journey at a time. Financials is a hub with three sections, switched with tabs at the top: Invoices, Supplier commissions, and Travel agent commissions.
Selecting Financials in the sidebar opens the Invoices section by default. Each section has its own search and filters, so you can work with one type of money at a time instead of scrolling through everything at once.

Invoices

Create, send, and track invoice payment status across Journeys.

Supplier Commissions

This section is a payment ledger across every Journey — for entering a commission on an individual service, see Supplier Commissions.
  • Search and filter by status: To collect, In margin, or Received
  • Each row is one service, not a whole Journey — a Journey with four commissionable services appears four times
  • Open a row’s ⋮ menu to act on it: Mark received records that the supplier has paid you back
In margin rows are not owed to you. That commission was taken by pricing the service above net rather than by billing the supplier afterwards, so those rows never need chasing — they appear so the ledger totals correctly.
The ⋮ menu changes with the row’s state. Once you raise a supplier invoice for a commission, Mark received is replaced by Mark invoice paid — the invoice becomes the record of payment. To correct an invoiced commission, change the payments on that invoice.

Travel Agent Commissions

This section is a payment ledger for commission owed to travel agents — separate from calculating the commission itself, which happens per-Journey in the Journey Financials tab.
  • Search and filter the list, including by Unpaid or Paid status
  • One row per Journey, showing the total owed to that agent
Select a row to open a panel from the right. Every action lives in that panel, not on the row itself — there is no menu on the list. The panel shows how the commission was reached (Sale commission plus Supplier splits), and carries Mark paid, Mark unpaid, Request invoice and Open journey.
Marking a commission paid or unpaid here only updates the payment record — it doesn’t change the commission amount itself. To adjust the commission rate or basis for a Journey, do that from the Journey’s own Financials tab.
A row marked Changed after payment means the Journey’s total moved after you paid the agent, so the amount you paid no longer matches what is owed. Odia does not correct this for you — open the Journey, work out the difference, and settle it with the agent.

Access

All three sections are readable by anyone who can reach the Financials hub. What is restricted is acting on them, not seeing them:

Customizing The Sidebar

The Financials sidebar entry always opens Invoices first, but you can pin Supplier commissions or Travel agent commissions as their own direct sidebar shortcuts instead of navigating through the tabs each time — see Settings for how to customize your sidebar.
